About

Formed in 2013 at the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Judson String Quartet draws its members from across the North American continent. Focused on community outreach, the Judson Quartet has performed in a variety of venues in Cleveland, including the complete circuit of Judson retirement communities, from which the Judson Quartet draws their name. The quartet has worked closely with Peter Salaff as well as members of the Cavani String Quartet as participants of the Intensive Quartet Seminar at the Cleveland Institute of Music. The 2013-2014 recipient of the Francis E. Sykora Grant for community outreach, the Judson Quartet recently presented a series of community outreach programs throughout the greater Cleveland area.  This summer, the Judson String Quartet will be in residence at the Interlochen Arts Academy.
